For example, one county recorded 138 sales at an average price of about $516,000, with 442 new listings and 979 active homes on the market. Another county held steady with 118 sales, but the average price adjusted to roughly $635,000, and homes there took about 60 days to sell. Meanwhile, a third county saw fewer sales\u2014just 31\u2014but prices strengthened, averaging around $857,000, with prices up nearly 27% month-over-month and 8% year-over-year.<\/p>\n<p>After nearly four decades helping people buy, sell, and invest in Prince Edward County, I can say with confidence that local knowledge is everything when it comes to real estate.
